May is the month of Mary and the Rosary
May
May is the month of Mary and the Rosary. Pope Pius XII solidified May as a Marian month in 1945, and Pope Paul VI later issued the encyclical Mense Maio in 1965, encouraging fervent prayer to Mary throughout the month.
