St. Francis Xavier Church is accepting applications for full-time Pastoral Associate, responsible to provide service and ministry to our parish, working in harmony with the pastor, pastoral staff, parish staff, and volunteers in the life of the parish and our One In Christ Area Catholic Community. Must be present at regularly scheduled liturgical gatherings of the community and coordinate, train, and support volunteers in outreach ministries. Qualifications include a Master’s degree in divinity, pastoral ministry, or related theological studies with background in Ecclesiology, Christology, Sacramental and Liturgical Theology, Scripture, Canon Law, Ethics and Morality, or working toward such a degree.
SFX is also accepting applications for a full-time Business Manager, responsible for the establishment and administration of business functions of the church. This position will involve collaboration and consultation with our partner ACC parishes at the direction of the pastors. Responsibilities include financial and personnel administration including supervision of maintenance and office staff, overseeing the maintenance of church and school facilities and the parish cemetery, and office management. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and a background in accounting, finance and human resources. Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products, social media and QuickBooks is necessary.

Director of Youth Ministry
SFX is also accepting applications for a full-time Director of Youth Ministry, responsible to foster the personal and spiritual growth of each young person and to draw them into responsible participation in the life, mission and work of the One In Christ Area Catholic Community. Responsibilities include plannning, development and preparation of curriculum for classes for 6th grade thru 10th grade Confirmation students, including recruiting and training small group leaders, arranging speakers and identifying and organizing all service projects. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree that prepares the candidate for youth ministry, or working toward such a degree, and a minimum of three years of experience in related work in church ministry.
