Lent Book Club

Discussion Group The Practice of the Presence of God by Brother Lawrence Lets Explore a book that Pope Leo XIV has described as one of his favorite books. He describes the core message of the book as a “type of prayer and spirituality where one simply gives his life to the Lord and allows the Lord to lead.” This teaching emphasizes experiencing God’s presence not just during formal prayer times, but in every moment and every ordinary, daily task, such as working in a kitchen.
Dive deeper into your faith this Lent. We will spend three weeks discussing each part of the book and how we can use it in our daily lives to let the Lord lead us.
