He is Risen! Alleluia!
April 20, 2019
“My Lord, My Lord, He is risen!” was the cry of Mary Magdalene as she ran to the Apostles who were secretly gathered for fear of what had happened to Jesus. After all, they were his followers, his companions.
But this moment is all about JOY and NEW LIFE and the realization that all that Jesus had taught was TRUTH! What a glorious morning! Happy Easter to all members of St. Francis Xavier, their family and friends and our brothers and sisters around the world. Today is indeed a day of great joy and celebration for Jesus overcame the darkness and death of sin and won for us eternal life with his Father. Now we may go and live life knowing for certain we are saved and abundantly blessed! And on this Easter morning we celebrate here in our parish with three RCIA candidates who are enjoying their first morning as members of the Catholic Church after having been received into full
Communion, receiving both the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist with us at the Easter Vigil Mass.
