HELP WANTED

St. Francis Xavier Parish and School is accepting applicants for a full-time custodial/maintenance person.
Responsibilities include general cleaning and maintenance of buildings and grounds for St. Francis Xavier Parish. In addition to custodial work, other tasks include set-up and take down of tables and chairs for special events, snow clearing as needed, and completion of other tasks to ensure a safe, clean, comfortable and healthy environment.
Qualifications include necessary janitorial skills and knowledge, familiarity with cleaning/janitorial equipment and supplies and their safe use/storage. Basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry skills are beneficial to help maintain the general operation of the facilities.
Candidates should be a high school graduate with three years of relevant work experience and have good communication skills. A favorable background check is a condition of employment.
