DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY
April 27
Celebrated on the Second Sunday of Easter, which concludes the Octave of Easter, Divine Mercy Sunday was originally based on the Catholic devotion to the Divine Mercy that Faustina Kowalska reported as part of her visions of Jesus and is associated with special promises from Jesus and indulgences issued by the Catholic Church.
This year we are happy to announce two speakers at the event. Our first speaker is Leah Brix. She is a published author of St. Joseph’s Hammer and the co-founder of Catholic Country Chronicles. She is passionate about the Catholic Faith, and making it accessible to everyday people. The second speaker is Fr. Doug Liebsch from the All Called to Christ ACC.
Divine Mercy Sunday will be held at St. Mary’s Cathedral on Sun., Apr. 27, from 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm. There will be Adoration and an opportunity for reconciliation.
