Dear Friends:

In a spirit of thanksgiving to God for the great gift of faith and in a spirit of preparation for the Advent Season, I warmly and enthusiastically invite each of you to the St. Francis Xavier Parish Mission November 4-8, 2007.  
   
Lead me, Lord is the theme for our most wonderful faith experience wrapped in inspiring prayer, music, dynamic preaching and moving ritual.
                
Some may be asking, “What is a Parish Mission?”  The answer is simple.  Our Parish Mission is a refreshing faith event that will take place over five evenings.  Each evening features honest, thought-provoking and soul searching explorations on topics such as: Blessed Call, Holy Spirit, The Cross, Forgiveness, and The Eucharist.

We are pleased to welcome back Redemptorist priest Fr. Peter Schavitz to preach at our Mission.  Redemptorists are nationally known as inspirational speakers; giving their time and commitment to the renewal of the Church.

I pray that you will attend each night of the Parish Mission.  You will be amazed to discover how putting aside a few hours each evening for five nights will create a lifetime of enrichment for your faith.
