Prayerline Request

One of the most comforting words we can hear from another is "I'll pray for you." I had this experience recently when I met with the BeFrienders and I told them about the ongoing cancer of my 59 year old brother, Jerry. I felt such sadness about his recent test results. After our meeting, one after the other approached me witha hug and a promise of prayer. It was like a soothing balm over my heart.

In our parish we have a large Prayerline with 61 members who are committed to holding the needs of outhers in prayer. We are very grateful to each of our Prayerline members. On November 20, the Prayerline met with Regina Lahr, our coordinator, and Sister Cordy. We were introduced to each other, got some parctiacal and helpful pointers and received a special blessing for this ministry.

Recently we received from a college student who was a member of the Prayerline. She said, "Thank you for allowing me to be a part of the Prayerline for the past two years. I'll be heading off to college now and unable to continue. The ministry will be in my prayers in the fall at my college. Thanks again and God bless." what a beautiful message.

Call Regina Lahr at 252-5182 if you or someone you know wish to be remembered in prayer and as soon as possible the message will be sent through the telephone lines.
