Father Pete Schavitz, C.SS.R will be the Mission Team Leader

Fr. Pete grew up in Chicago and currently lives in Denver. He professed as a Redemptorist in1970 and was ordained to the Priesthood: 1976

Father Pete has wide and varied apostolic experiences. His background includes youth, adult, couple, divorced, and nuns’ retreats, seminary professor, vocation ministry, parish ministry and involvement in several radio and video projects.

Father Pete has been giving parish missions, since 1985 and joined the Redemptorist Parish Mission Preaching Team in Chicago in 1992.

As a native Chicagoan, his greatest weakness is the fact that he is a die-hard Cub, Bear, Bull and Blackhawk fan. Pray that he may recover from this infirmity!
