Liturgy of the Word for Children
The Liturgy of the Word with Children Kindergarten to Grade 3 is celebrated at the 10:30a.m. Mass. The children move to a separate area which is not far removed from the adult assembly. The Liturgy of the Word with children enables them to participate in the formal worship experience of the Community. It immerses the children in the WORD/SCRIPTURE in words that are understandable to them. The structure of the Liturgy of the Word with children takes the same form and time as the Liturgy of the Word for the general assembly. It is a prayerful worship experience and not an activity centered structure.
