
Fourth Grade News
2/6-2/10
Science
Students will be learning about the food groups and how to eat for a healthy body.
Social
Fourth graders will be creating a state brochure.
Math
We are currently working on Chapter 13, which involves long division.
Long division can be a difficult concept for students and
they may need a little extra help at home this week.
Reading
Students will be reading an autobiography or biography.
This book should be completed by February 13th.
Spelling
Unit 22 Pretest on Monday. The final test will be on Friday.
Religion
This week we will complete or study of the Eucharist.
We are also learning about the character trait of self-control.
Writing
Students will be writing about their 3rd & 4th grade years this week.
English
Students will be learning about adjectives.

*It was so nice to see some parents at the Great Expectations meeting this past Tuesday. If you were unable to attend the meeting and are interested in finding out about the excellent leadership, academic, and enrichment activities that our 5th and 6th grade program offers, please feel free to contact me.

2. Check out spellingcity. com (link below) and practice next year's spelling
words. Click on : Find list, then type in 56377 and change search to zip
code. Clikc on St. Francis Xavier , then click on Mary Winter. Our spelling
lists, for the school year, will come up by lesson.

skills fresh.
