Science

We will begin a Weather unit this week.

Our first topics are layers of the atmosphere,

evaporation, and condensation.

Social

We will take the Western States identification test on Tuesday.

Students will need to locate the state on a map,

and know the abbreviation, and the capital.

Students will also continue to work on their region games.

Math

For the remainder of the year lessons will vary as will testing.

This week’s lessons will be 19.2, 20.6, 21.1, 21.2, and 21.3.

There will not be a test. The Chapter 18 Take-Home Test that was sent home on 4-3-08 is due on Tuesday, the 8th.

Reading

We will be starting the novel, “Strider”.

Spelling

Unit 29 Pretest on Monday. Final test on Friday.

Religion

We will continue to work in our Family Life booklet.

Writing

Students have picked out a poem to be memorized.

We will practice in class this week.

Students should also practice at home and

be ready to recite the poem by April 16th,

English

We will be learning about Possessive Pronouns and Verbs.

There are some math textbooks missing from the classroom. 

Please check around your house for any strays and return ASAP.
