The new schedules for the Food Shelf Ministry at St. Francis Xavier will be out soon.

There will be a brief meeting this Thursday, November 17 at 7:00 pm in the Gathering Place for all those who are new to the ministry and to those of you who are returning. I will review the procedures of the ministry and introduce a few changes that some of you might not be aware of. 

While I think the program has been working quite well, it will also be an opportunity for you to suggest ways that it might be improved.

It's an important ministry of our parish and I am so grateful for all those parishioners that make it so successful. I hope to see you on Thursday,

Thank you to all who donated to the food shelf this past week. $595.00 and approximately 457 pounds of food were delivered to local food shelves.

If you wish to make a food donation in November, please bring your items to the coat room on the north Side of the Gathering Place. All cash donations should be brought to the parish office or it may be dropped in the Sunday collection.

There will be no special collection in the first week of December, however, any donations received will be delivered to the local food shelves as they are received.
